America and apologys

For once i'm going to post something that will make me seem like I know something. I have recently realuzed that America is not only going down the tube, it is likely that the goverment is leading the people to a civil revolt, especially now that the Obama administration s sending an ambassador over to Japan for the 65th rememberance day for the dropping of the atomic bombs to, I shiver at the thought, apologise. But, for what I ask? Those bombs saved at least one million lives on each side as the Japanese would fight to the death and the Americans would have to keep coming! So two bombs killed 140 thousand while saving 2 million and ending a world war! So why I ask, why apologise?
